Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate a thorough comparative understanding of the content of the insurance clauses within the main construction contracts and how they have changed over time
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of why non-negligence liability cover may be required and how insurers meet this need
- Describe the standard structure, and content of Contract Works insurance policies and the optional extras which may be available
- Describe how insurers assess and underwrite the more complex risks.
